What are retainers and do I have to wear them after treatment?

Retainers are essentially custom-made devices either made of wire or clear plastic. They are helpful in holding your teeth in the right position post a realignment procedure or treatment.
Yes, you need to wear the retainer post the treatment throughout the day except when having meals or brushing your teeth. This has to be done for at least 3 months. After the 3 month period, wearing them when about to go to sleep will work fine. We will be providing
you with your first set of retainers which will last upto 6 months. Post this you can easily purchase the next set from us.
